In this exercise, we are going to go through step-by-step instructions on how to create a resume. At the end of the post, you will find sample resumes available for download.

On a piece of scratch paper, write down all of your contact information. This includes your full name, your current address, your home telephone number, your cell phone number, and your e-mail address. If you are a student and your current address isn’t your permanent address (i.e. you are in a dorm for the semester but will be moving back to your parents’ home soon), then also include your permanent address. All of this information should be completely accurate so that a potential employer can contact you.

Since many people use their cell phone as their primary phone nowadays, if you wish to only be contacted at that number, it is acceptable to leave out your home phone number. This is especially true for students who don’t have a home phone number while in the dorms. Also, it’s important to note that the e-mail address you include should be professional. An address with your name or initials is appropriate; iamsexy@hotmail.com is not.

For this example, the applicant’s name is going to be Jane Smith. Address: 123 Street Road, City, State 98765. Phone number: 555 – 345-9876. Cell number: 555 – 321 – 2288. E-mail address: jane.smith@email.com

Next, list all of your previous education. Write down the name of the school you attended, the degree you earned, and the year you graduated. If you are currently in school, list “in progress” next to the degree instead of a graduation date. You may also want to list your G.P.A., provided that it is good; do not list your G.P.A. if it is below a 3.0. Low numbers may misrepresent your abilities. If you don’t list your GPA and employers want to know it, they will ask, but often by then you will already have impressed them.

Note that if you have graduated from a college or university, it is no longer appropriate to list high school education on your resume.

For this example, the applicant’s education is as follows: State University (2000 – 2004) Degree in Business (B.S.) GPA =3.5.

After your education, list all of your previous work experiences. This includes both paid and unpaid jobs. Write down the name of your employer, your responsibilities at that job, and the dates you worked there. If you have multiple positions at one job, write down each position separately.

For this example, Jane Smith has worked at Corporate Business from 2004-2009 as a Business Manager. She helped streamline operations, boosted employee output and efficiency, increased revenues by 5%, and trained new employees.

Next, list all of your activities. This includes any organizations you are a part of for recreation and any honors societies you may have been in while in school.

For this example, Jane Smith was a member of the Honors Society and the Fundraising Chair of her sorority, Alpha Beta Gamma.

Finally, list any skills you have separate from your work experience. This may include computer skills, speaking a second language, technical skills such as welding, or anything useful for a job. It does not include “good communication” or “team player”. Those types of faux “skills” are things that an employer expects you to have, and listing them on a resume will not make you stand out from the crowd. Other skills will give you an edge, though.

For this example, Jane Smith has knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Powerpoint) and speaks Spanish as a second language.

Once you’ve collected all of this information, the only thing left to do is assemble it in a manner that is easy to read. For samples of how this is done, please see the following downloadable resumes. They are created using the sample information mentioned in this blog post.

I feel really surprised and disheartened whenever browsing the individual blog posts and news from tuition agency in Singapore. It is unfortunate to experience the dissatisfaction generated among educational analysts and experts. Concern on learning procedure, knowledge sourcing, school teaching methods and excessive exam orientation is evolved because of misguided structure of school system.

There are some genuine faults from grass hood level of teaching system with the schools. Let’s find out how vulnerable they are as follows:

Lack of student’s initiative:

Apart from rows of tables and chair arranged in a systematic way in the class room nothing seem to be promising. Teachers are authoritative and direct the whole class like a boss is instructing his subordinates. It is more of managing students with a strong hold with less chance to open their personal views. This attitude has led to absence of enough initiatives and energy.

Confined time tables:

Lessons are so heavily ordered and organized that students have to restrict their outgoing questions. Here every hour is allocated for specific chapter. If 30 minutes been given for a topic to end, students are not allowed to continue for further queries and doubts. It does not matter whether you as a student don’t like to listen a chapter if it is in that particular schedule. You can’t avoid unruly structured daily classes and lessons whether you are able to follow it or not.

General treatment:

It is very common that you as a student have different grasping abilities and memory power. But school teachers are not going to leave any choice for you. Might be you are not able to balance your study speed with your other classmates, but no body cares. What you need most is being loyal to your teacher and does what so ever they decide for all. Here comes sense of generalization and equalities that does not suit your specific need. Such a hard prescription that apply different mode of learning lessons deviating from school system can be risky and harmful for students.

Stickiness to syllabus:

It is so formally oriented that every students need to open up same pages of the same book at a time. If want to score high and recognize your talent then be syllabus specific. How so ever extra ordinary performance you have in various subjects, with out good marks in relevant subjects teachers are going to mark your activities irrelevant and distractive. Student’s future, marks, recognition from teachers and peers all depend on “syllabus”. If you wish to join a course of your own interest not only you need good grades but also you have to pass through heavy competition.

Stringent demand from students:

Starting from catch up lessons, CCA, tutorial lessons, home assignments in Singapore, so many bindings like 6 hours community work, lesson in creativity, entrepreneurship, must to have national education all these stress out students.

Over all administration in the name of school rules, teachers, syllabus control students to the extreme which leads to rigid systems with no actual progress.

If you are a blogger that has been wondering how you will ever keep your posts lively and interesting for your overwhelmed readership, it is time to rejoice! Everyone knows that a picture is worth a thousand words, and when you’re in the business of words as a blogger, that kind of time savings is priceless. There are a lot of tips and tricks listed all over the internet on how to make the most of your blog posts, from incorporating meta tags to how you source your images, but when you’ve finally decided about all that, the issue of how you will store you images still remains. Blog image hosting is now available directly through most of the popular blogging platforms, so if you’re not using one, this might be the time to switch.

If you’ve been thinking about starting a blog for a while, but think that it is too complicated for you to be able to do it successfully, it’s time to think again. Everyone from construction workers to student interns have their own blog nowadays, and it only helps to spread information and entertainment amongst people who like to get these things online. If you’re new to blogging, then the term blog image hosting might seem complicated to you, but it is really a simple process.

First of all, any time you see a picture or graphic on the internet, you should know that that particular image is simply a file that you would normally see stored on your computer. In fact, if you have pictures stored on your computer right now, you can see that each of them is assigned a file name and type just like a document with text in it. When you see a graphic on a blog or website, this means that that image’s file was uploaded to a server which then made it accessible through the web page. Some image hosting can be very limited or expensive, which is why blog image hosting can be important.

Now there are many places and blogging platforms that will automatically provide you with a certain amount of server space so that you can upload all the images you want to the blog server. These will be displayed in your blog so that readers can visualize what your text is talking about. If you choose an external image host, you can also create albums that can be accessed outside the blog. Learn more about blog image hosting at www.upmyphoto.com.

There are one or two baby boomers (who shall remain anonymous) who have experimented extensively with the realms of fantasy that is the World of cyber sex. One elderly contestant (82 next birthday…) in a cyber sex experiment decided that the sex was actually not worth bothering about but he learned so much about how to use Skype; how to set up a webcam and microphone and how to set up a virus check (hmmm – we asked that one too but don’t worry – he does know the difference between a computer virus and an STD!) that he is going to continue surfing for cyber sex partners to see what else he can – erm – pick up!

Sadly, psychological articles state that cyber sex is escalating amongst over sixties. Much of the incentive to indulge in cyber sex is put down to baby boomers experiencing a slowdown in their ‘real’ sex lives, so they seek an alternative set of pleasures, spending many hours each week scanning xxx-rated databases and sending speculative and erotic emails to like-minded people located just about everywhere.

Obviously, the attraction of cyber sex is the absolute confidentiality, unless you are a baby boomer silly enough to try cyber sex with a partner who lives in your street! Worryingly, a large percentage of people who indulge in cyber sex experience depression and anxiety, according to Marcus Squirrell, a doctoral student at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, who states that 35% of the men tested (not women in this case) were “moderately to severely stressed”. Squirrell also contends that the more online sexual activity indulged in, the deeper the depression – so watch out, baby boomers!

Naturally enough, the age of cyber sex is still in its youth, however old its participants might be. Psychological articles tell us that the full effects it could have on those who are involved in its fantasies are as yet, therefore, unknown – virtually. Although the illustrious Mr Squirrell might have thoroughly researched his subject, it is entirely possible that the link between cyber sex and depression will turn out, in time, to carry no more weight than the old adage that masturbation caused blindness – time will tell!

For baby boomers determined to experiment with cyber sex, the ingredients are simply basic computer literacy, a webcam for serious visual participation, a microphone (or speakers if you want to share!) and a good imagination.

Remember to install a class A virus check on your computer if you are going to start browsing fantasy sites and sex chat rooms if you want to make sure your expensive hard drive doesn’t get blown up in the throes of passion and excitement – and take the somewhat obvious precautions of locking the door and making sure your chair is securely anchored!

Why My Story Will Shock You… And How After What Seemed To Be An Endless 4 Month Battle, I Eventually Cleared My Acne Within Days.

If you’re thinking about using lotions, drugs or any other product to get rid of acne, I’m extremely relieved that you’ve found my blog because not only will my story shock you, it’ll almost certainly save your health, your money as well as a lot of time and heart ache.

I will tell you exactly why over a 4 month period I tried but was forced to give up with Acneticin, Oxycerin and a range of other cleansing bars and products… and how I finally managed to get rid of my acne completely with a unique product called ‘Acne Free In 3 Days’.

My name is Sandy Jameson and like so many teenagers and young adults, I spent months desperately trying to get rid of my acne.

I never used to have issue with my skin at all. However, in January 2008, after having perfect skin for so many years I began life at a new college. Even though this was fantastic and I was having a great time, the problem was my whole lifestyle was altered. My diet changed, I was sleeping less and because of the work load it actually became quite stressful.

The Inevitable Started To Happen.

My skin slowly started to worsen and probably due to lack of exercise and the poor quality of the food I was eating, within 8 weeks I was covered in zits and things didn’t get any better from there.

After a few months the work eased off slightly and I actually did have the chance to start swimming and made a big effort to get myself healthy again – which I hoped would improve my skin. However, after hoping for the best for a number of weeks, it became obvious that it wasn’t going to work.

And that was the point when I realized I had to do something about it.

I Tried Oxycerin & Failed.

At the time, Oxycerin was the ‘in thing’ to do and after speaking to three of my friends who had had moderate success with it, I decided to give it a go.

At first it worked out reasonably well and my skin did start to improve slightly – and although that wasn’t exactly something to get too excited about, at least it was a start. And any ’start’ was good!

However, after a few weeks, things began to go downhill. One of the major issues was that I was spending so much money on the product. $129.99 for a small bottle was far more than I could afford and it seemed like I was going back to the drug store every two minutes to purchase more bottles. I found that I needed much more than the recommended dosage for it to have any real effect.

I was working my way through hundreds of dollars which was becoming a problem, especially as a student.

Eventually I had to stop.

Then I Tried Acneticin Pills But Was Forced To Give Them Up.

After only 14 days using these pills I began to feel unhealthy and ill. I don’t know why but even with no medical expertise at all, I recognized that my digestive system was running into problems. I was also getting terrible migraines.

The most worrying thing of all was that I got a warning from my doctor and after deciding that the pain and suffering I was experiencing wasn’t worth it compared to the benefit the product was having on my skin, I threw the pills in the bin the very next day.

I then tried a range of scrubs and lotions such as the Asso Gold Cleansing Bar. However, after going through one of the bars within 12 days (it cost $124!) I soon realized that if I was actually going to get rid of my acne for good, this just wasn’t going to work., unless I wanted to go broke of course!

Eventually, I found something that worked.

Having spent so much time, money and energy desperately trying to succeed with products, lotions and pills that ultimately had very little effect on my skin was a big regret. However, the next thing I tried that was called Acne Free In 3 Days.

I had never heard of it before and because of my recent experiences, I was initially a little dubious. But after reading some extremely complimentary reviews and learning that the cost was minimal co

Why are there so many companies that prey on the hopes and dreams of the average person? I guess it’s because there are so many of us with big hopes and dreams. For anyone who has read my article, Invention Companies Offer Patent Help and Other Scams, you know I’m referring to, once again, the invention scheme. This time I would like to caution my readers about the Invention Listing Websites. For those of you, who are not familiar with them, let me explain the difference between the two scams. As I discussed in my other article, the invention companies try to get your money in a variety of ways, starting with a patent search. They then gladly take your idea from concept to a licensing agreement, all for a fee of course. So where does one turn when they decide to develop and market an invention on their own? That’s where the invention listing Websites come in. Incidently, that is what I am currently in the process of doing. On my own, my project now has a provisional patent, and I’ve just started to market it. Many of you may even have a prototype and a non provisional patent.

Well for those of you who are looking for help marketing at any stage, here are a few suggestions that might just help you keep your shirt, in the mean time. There are several tactics the listing companies use to try to take your hard earned cash. Some of them offer a one time charge, while others have yearly and even monthly fees. Their packages start at about $25 a month and will range up in the thousands, with, of course, no guarantee that you will ever sell your idea. You might not need a prototype, but you should have a website that details your invention. That is where they can really take you, so be careful. Get a friend or a student to design something for you that won’t cost an arm and a leg. Watch out for these sites implied success stories as well. All of them showcase the big corporations that are looking for the next best idea, and of course, their successful clients. Most of the big companies only accept projects that are patented, so be aware of that.

The greatest threats to your pocket book, however, are those companies that offer something for FREE. I can’t tell you how much time I have wasted on filling out free listings, only to discover it was all a bait and switch tactic. These companies will offer a free listing or even a web page, but you have to sign up for a monthly or yearly agreement, or it is worthless. Believe me, after hours and hours of research, I have found a handful of companies that seem to be legitimately trying to help. I want you to know that I am not making any referral fee for my recommendations. These are free listings Websites that have no catches to post your invention for FREE. Keep in mind that most of them won’t allow projects that don’t have at least a provisional patent status. They are also trying to sell you their products and services, but do let you list for free.

InvenBay… will review your project to determine if they want to invest in it before they list it for free. They also have a place to blog where fellow inventors can have questions answered.

InvenTube… is a FREE service to the New Product Industry. Finally a place where creative thinkers can share, network, and collaborate. Your listing includes a picture.

Inventorspot….allows the most detailed description of your invention including a picture. They also preview it before it if listed. You can network with other inventors in the forum.

Inventmail… is your community. It will rely on the members of the community bringing their knowledge, experience, skills, contacts and expertise to the table. They offer a beautiful site where you can post your invention or article and get feedback from the other members.

Dreams To Market…lets you have a small listing for free. The good stuff will cost you.

I hope this information will help you. I know it will save some time. If you would like to read my other article or perhaps get the links to these FREE sites, please go to:

My RecomMANNdations

If you are interested in what my invention is all about, ask yourself, what would I do if I or a loved one was lost in the wilderness. I have the answer:

While flipping channels, I came across an episode of the new Melrose Place series. Surprisingly, a plot line in the episode made me think about the cost of health care in America. One of the main characters, Lauren Bishop, is a student in medical school. She is dedicated to medicine and excels in her classes, but financial strife jeopardizes her education. This is an all-too-common scenario in real life; crushing student loans and the lack of ability to pay have led to a shortage in primary care physicians. There are fewer family doctors available to offer preventative care; this results in more patients resorting to expensive specialists or emergency rooms with serious ailments that could have been nipped in the bud if properly monitored. Health insurers and their patients must cover the increased costs of this.

The case of Melrose’s Lauren is an extreme example of the need to include educational support in any healthcare reform bill. After a mix-up at the financial aid office, her medical school informs her that she will be kicked out if she can’t pay them $25,000 by the end of the semester. Lauren is now out of options, and–this being a nighttime soap–she reluctantly becomes an escort to fund her dream. While obviously a dramatization, the show is unusually realistic in its portrayal of struggling med school students and the financial hardships they often face. How does this affect your health insurance costs? There are several ways in which this happens.

Physicians who must take out hundreds of thousands of dollars in student loans to attend pre-med programs and medical schools must earn higher salaries to compensate. A primary argument in favor of healthcare reform, especially the public option, is that the federal government would be able to use its clout and size to lower reimbursement rates across the board. Ideally, the savings would be passed on to taxpayers. Medicare and Medicaid use a similar method, but it has not been without objections from doctors. The lower payments they receive from these public health insurance plans don’t allow them to pay off their debts within a reasonable period of time. An increasing number of doctors have either limited the number of Medicare or Medicaid patients they serve, or refused to take them altogether. A related phenomenon is the trend of medical school graduates choosing to enter a specialty, as opposed to becoming primary care physicians. Most medical specialists make more money while working fewer hours, enabling them to pay off their debts quickly. This logical decision is another factor in the shortage of primary care doctors. Basic economics states that when supply is lower than demand, the price must rise to reach equilibrium. Therefore, the doctors who are practicing general medicine must be paid more.

In addition, potential doctors who must work multiple jobs to support their education (or low-paying residencies afterward), as well as current doctors stressed from large loan payments, may see the quality of their care suffer. Other doctors and hospitals must make up for any errors made when this happens. Health insurance companies are then forced to pay for the same procedure twice. A handful of doctors may become desperate enough to go against their ethics, such as the Hippocratic Oath. Unfortunately, while the fictional Lauren’s scenario is rare, other doctors may feel entitled to break their moral code by accepting kickbacks from pharmaceutical companies or defrauding insurance companies. Both of those actions are responsible for billions of dollars in wasted healthcare costs each year, passed on to you in your health insurance quote.

Changing the current medical school system would allow more general doctors to make a good living with lower salaries, reducing the cost of healthcare reform in the long run. Costs would decrease due to an increased supply of doctors, as opposed to direct government involvement in determining doctors’ salaries. What can we do to improve this situation?

The government can offer more grants and scholarships to deserving medical students. Non-for-profit charities, corporations, and individuals could do the same. If we want more primary care doctors (who have been proven to save the health insurance industry money in the long run), they must be encouraged. Financial aid forms should be made as easy to understand as possible; and loans should be considered as a last resort, not expected to cover the majority of med school expenses.

More state medical schools shoul
