History of Beauty
It was in the submissions of the ancient Greek philosophers, such as Pythagoras, that the earliest Western appreciation of beauty was to be found. The school, personified by Pythagoras, discovered that there was a strong connection between mathematics and beauty.
In particular, they noted that objects proportioned according to the golden rule, which can be expressed as a mathematical constant with a value of 1.618, seemed more attractive. In fact, this view of symmetrical structures that were in proportion is based on ancient Greek architecture.
It has been found that people, whose facial features are symmetric and proportioned, in accordance with the golden ratio, are considered more attractive than those whose faces are not. Another important factor is that of symmetry since it suggests the absence of any hereditary or acquired defects. In fact, one of a number of aesthetic characteristics, including being average and that of youth, which are associated with the health, physical attractiveness and, ultimately, the beauty of a person, is associated with the concept of symmetry, especially that of facial features.
Even though there may be significant changes in image and fashion, it has been found that people’s interpretation of beauty may be defined in a number of ways. In this respect, eyes that are large and a complexion that is soft and clear are especially desirable. Further, such features are most certainly considered beautiful, irrespective of gender, and certainly regardless of culture.
Interestingly, the features of a newborn baby are inherently attractive, and youthfulness is a timeless characteristic that is always associated with beauty. Early in child development, there is evidence to suggest that an affinity for beautiful faces emerges, and this definition of attractiveness is regardless of their gender or culture.

Driver vs Iron

There’s at least one basic certainty in golf and that is that good, solid contact produces quality shots. Every player, even those who compete on the PGA Tour, knows this and strives to perfect the moment of impact. Unfortunately, many recreational golfers don’t make high-quality contact as often as they should, in part because they simply don’t know the key elements necessary to do so.

Knowing and practicing the key elements of impact is critical to producing consistently well-struck shots, so you must be aware of the basics, as well as the fact that there are significant differences between properly striking a ball with an iron and doing so with a driver off a tee. Study the keys that I provide and practice them, and I guarantee your ballstriking will improve in no time.

 

Setup
For an iron, position the ball about two inches inside your left heel and assume a neutral spine tilt (your right shoulder should be only slightly lower than your left). Your feet should be just inside shoulder width, and your arms should hang freely with your hands over the front portion of the golf ball. To adjust for a driver, maintain the same ball position relative to your left heel, but move your right foot back so your feet are just outside your shoulders. Tilt your spine farther away from the target (the right shoulder should be significantly lower than the left) and place your hands over the back of the ball.

Impact Differences
A proper setup position with an iron features a relatively neutral spine angle, allowing for a more downward strike, which is critical to solid iron impact. The hands should lead the handle of the club into the ball, creating ball-first contact and a divot past (after) the spot where the ball was struck. Tilting the spine away from the target with a driver promotes the necessary ascending (upward) strike. The hands should be even with the ball at impact, not in front of it as it is with an iron.

Hip Rotation
One of the biggest mistakes recreational golfers make is sliding the hips laterally instead of rotating them in a counterclockwise direction (to the left for a right-handed player). The lateral slide tends to create a lot of problems that range from slicing and hooking to a lack of power. This mistake also has the potential to create physical injury as well.

The key to creating a swing (Swing Like Tiger Woods) that stores power and delivers it into impact is getting the hips more open than the shoulders as you deliver the club into the ball. By starting the downswing with an opening of the hips, you’ll allow the club to swing on the correct plane and attack the ball slightly from the inside. Also, clearing the hips helps maintain the correct spine angle through impact, which promotes a proper weight shift and ultimately, solid contact. Try to get your belt buckle facing the target at impact, and you should quickly see improved results.

Motivation Theory

Motivation is defined as an internal drive that activates behavior and gives it direction. It can be very challenging trying to exercise consistently or maintaining your fitness routine. Before you know it, your back to where you started, or even farther from reaching your goal.

The term motivation theory is concerned with the processes that describes why and how human behavior is activated and directed. It is regarded as one of the most important areas of study in the field of organizational behavior. Maslow introduced five levels of basic needs through his theory. Basic needs are categorized as physiological needs, safety and security needs, needs of love, needs for self esteem and needs for self-actualization. The more successful we are at gaining these needs and experiencing the great feelings that we receive from them the more enjoyable are life will be. And if you haven’t noticed your fitness and health play a major role in these categories.

By exercising, your brain will release endorphins that will give you a great internal feeling which will contribute to having a positive mindset. Exercising has been proven to alleviate both physical and metal pain.  For me it can be a way to escape. Sometimes, life can get stressful or overwhelming and going to the gym or exercising in some way is a great way for me to ease my mind and not worry so much. Exercising has also been linked to curing  symptoms of depression which has become a big problem with many people in our society today.

Now lets talk about self esteem. By being physically active you increase your self-esteem because you start to look and feel better about yourself. When your feeling good about your self you accomplish those challenging goals you have set, you find yourself being more productive each day, and you begin to develop more relationships with people because they  see that glow in you and they want that feeling too. On the flip side if you don’t  figure out a way to become physically active you could develop low self-esteem which will keep you from enjoying life, doing the things you want to do, and working towards your personal goals.

Now we have self-actualization which is the feeling we get from achieving something. We humans feel great when we accomplish anything, it gives us a boost of energy, it multiplies are motivation, and gives us so much energy that we can share it with people around us. That is why I set fitness goals, because that is what keeps me going and every time I reach them, its like feeling up my tank to reach new and better goals that I have never even thought of.

By maintaining a fitness routine and making it a habit you will be more happy with yourself which will make you a more loving person and you will also be more secure within yourself which is very important to living a life filled with happiness.
